Nucleus ensures The Goring’s new five star website sparkles
The Goring, London’s only family-owned 5 star hotel and Travel & Leisure’s No 1 Hotel for Service in Europe, today launches a sparkling new website, designed and built by brand + digital specialists, Nucleus.
Featuring full screen imagery with auto re-sizing, the new The Goring website introduces several innovative design features that redefines the 5 star hotel user experience for digital users, just as the original hotel transformed guest experiences when it opened in 1910, offering private bathrooms and central heating in every bedroom for the first time.
Fourth generation scion, Jeremy Goring, commented “Our new website represents a giant leap forward for The Goring, bringing our unique guest experience within the reach of everyone with computer or iPad, wherever they are in the world. The Goring celebrated its Centenary earlier this year and today, equipped with its new website delivering a global brand proposition, it is ready to take on the challenges of the next hundred years.
The Goring was opened by Otto Goring in 1910. In its centenary year, it is now the only five star luxury hotel in London that is owned and run by the family that built it. Jeremy Goring is the fourth Goring to run The Goring since his great-grandfather opened it. Deep in the heart of Belgravia, just behind Buckingham Palace, the hotel is within strolling distance of the Royal Parks and the best shops, theatres and galleries in town. As it celebrates its 100th birthday the interiors have been refreshed by some of the country’s finest designers. The Dining Room, designed by David Linley, is a haven for superbly cooked English food using British ingredients. The Bar has been gloriously transformed by Tim Gosling in a theatrical, Empire style and Russell Sage has just completed six rooms overlooking the garden using Gainsborough Silks.
