Designed to convey timeless elegance

Elysium is a 5-star luxury hotel perfectly positioned on a private beach in Paphos, Cyprus. One of a trio of outstanding hotels owned and managed by Stademos Hotels, its website had become dated and difficult to manage. After an international search for a digital agency partner, Stademos selected Nucleus to design and develop a next generation platform for its three hotel websites.

Starting with Elysium, we visited the hotel to properly understand its classic luxury value proposition and accommodation configuration and then, drawing on our vast hotel website experience, we then designed new technical and information architectures that could support all three hotels. Then we wireframed the UX to ensure all the information was easily accessible to all users, on all devices. This challenge included a wide choice of 14 room types, 10 dining options, a destination spa, kids club and much more.

The website design incorporates an evolutionary brand refresh, with a classic 5-star blend of restrained typography and colours and sufficient compositional space to deliver a calm and elegant user experience. The UI design features subtle use of animation and progression technique, where page elements load and animate to visually communicate the user’s progress through each page.

All the content was refreshed with new photography and copy commissioned by Elysium, which was edited by our writers to ensure a consistent brand tone of voice, before being translated into several languages. New videos will be produced and added post-launch.

We selected Umbraco Cloud as the multilingual CMS for its ease of use and seamless DevOps efficiencies.

The Elysium website relaunched in April 2024. Results will be published in due course.
Omiros Omirou, Stademos Business Development Director, commented “We are delighted with Nucleus' elegant solution which will help us engage with our discerning guests and drive online bookings for 2024, and many years beyond.”
