Adobe Experience Manager Developer

Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer, ideally with AEM certification, with a good technical understanding of Adobe Experience Manager and other Java solutions around application design, development, testing and installation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Adobe Experience Manager developer to come in and play a key role in developing AEM solutions for Nucleus. We are considering a contract to permanent arrangement.

To be considered you will have experience in the following:

  • Enterprise Software Development Lifecycle Process
  • Coding with Java/J2EE
  • Content Management Platforms
  • AEM 6.2 and above. Experience with 6.4 (Preferred)
  • OSGi framework (Bundles/Services, tag libraries)
  • Has been an developer on at least two AEM-based solutions or projects
  • Good understanding of all AEM building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, etc.
  • Experience and understanding of agile delivery processes
  • Experience with continuous integration and automated testing tools
  • Relevant experience in SQL, MVC, REST, SOAP, JEE, and JavaScript(JSON/XML)
  • Mastery of all core web technologies including XML and JSP, and Web Services development using RESTful implementations
  • Deep understanding of Java, JEE, servlets and JSP, tag libraries, combined with a strong understanding of enterprise Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate)
  • Proficient in Adobe AEM foundational concepts, including the OAK repository, the AEM platform, and the use of core frameworks (e.g., Apache Sling, Apache Felix)
  • Experience with sightly templating language

You will be expected to:

  • Liaise with Business Analysts to interpret business requirements
  • Contribute towards estimating and planning the delivery of significant components of Adobe AEM solutions
  • Develop software components that meet the quality and architectural standards agreed for the team, including the documentation and implementation of unit tests, scripts and test harnesses
  • Work across the entire delivery lifecycle, including the identification and resolution of software defects during test execution phases
  • Support effective configuration and release management of software delivered
  • Communicate with members of other teams and other members of development to ensure effective implementation

Adobe Experience Manager Technical Architect

Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Technical Architect, with AEM certification, with a full technical understanding of Adobe Experience Manager and other Java solutions around application design, development, testing and installation.

  • Experience in Enterprise Software Development Lifecycle Process
  • Experience coding with Java/J2EE
  • Experience with Content Management Platforms
  • Experience with AEM 6.2 and above. Experience with 6.4 (Preferred)
  • 3 Year experience with OSGi framework (Bundles/Services, tag libraries)
  • Has been an architect or co-architect on at least two AEM-based solutions or projects
  • Experience with integrating AEM into Application servers and web servers
  • Strong expertise in Adobe API's integrations
