A glimpse of Long Island luxury...

04 May 2012

With a ‘teaser’ website, www.toppingrosehouse.com, launched by London-based brand+digital designers, Nucleus, future guests can now catch a glimpse of this eagerly-anticipated luxury hotel and watch as the story unfolds in the coming months.

Built in 1842 for its namesake, Judge Abraham Topping Rose and his family, this Greek Revival-style mansion has been carefully restored to honour its antique elements while creating a modern space that caters for the discerning traveller of today. Topping Rose House will be a unique addition to this legendary beach community.

The teaser website has been designed to adapt fluidly to the device the viewer chooses to use and works equally well on PC, iPad and iPhone. The full website will also be a ‘native’ mobile application when it launches in the summer to cater for the growing number of users who are using their PCs less and their mobiles and tablets more.

Peter Matthews, Nucleus’ Managing Director commented “We are delighted to be working with the Topping Rose House team on their landmark hotel project in the Hamptons and, with the teaser website launched, our focus is now on designing a beautiful full website, which will entice you to Bridgehampton via your phone, iPad or PC.”

Simon Critchell, who along with Bill Campbell is a founding partner of Topping Rose House, added “We came to Nucleus in London because of their experience and outstanding reputation with luxury hotels – we have not been disappointed.”
