Haven Holiday’s website, designed and built by Nucleus since 2009, scored 84.5% in the latest survey - the highest score recorded since the 2nd eDigital survey more than 2 years ago – maintaining its 2011 position as the top performing travel website into 2012.
The eMysteryShopper eTravel Benchmark provides an in-depth, structured study of website usability and functionality, through a unique panel of profiled UK Internet users and explores in detail the end-to-end website experience from a consumer’s perspective. After the entire website has been reviewed, 68 separate measures influence the final scoring and represent perhaps the most comprehensive view available of real user reactions to the online experience.
The summary of the survey concluded that the Haven Holiday’s site offers a consistent end-to-end journey and scores particularly well for Initial Research and Search. Haven’s website achieved an excellent score for a number of the measures including: Destinations Available in Initial Search and Accuracy of Search Results. The report states “the Haven website provides a consistent customer journey from beginning to end. It provides a clear offering to customers who find the homepage is easy to navigate and well designed. Shoppers found it easy to locate all the information they needed to make a purchase decision”.
